Our Mission
We are a welcoming church family grounded in traditional Christian sacraments, committed to the spiritual growth of all.
All are Welcome
We welcome and include all people as we pray, worship, serve others, and enjoy the richness of music, liturgy, and Christian fellowship.
Expect the Miraculous
We offer programs and facilities to accommodate the needs of our church family and community. We expect the miraculous; come join us on the journey!
Meet Our Vicar,
Patrick Gahan
Patrick has been married to his childhood sweetheart, Kay, for 49 years. They have three grown children, three grandchildren and would love to have a few more.
Patrick has served as an infantry officer in the U.S. Army and as a teacher and coach in both public and private schools. Most of his 37 years in the ordained ministry have been in Dioceses of Texas and West Texas, but he has served in Maryland, Sewanee, and Newfoundland, as well. On December 3, 2023, after 12 wonderful years, Patrick retired as rector of Christ Episcopal Church in San Antonio, TX. The ministry they shared with the people of Christ Church brought both Kay and him immeasurable joy.
“Inviting people to submit to the love of God and then witnessing how their lives are dramatically changed is my greatest delight,” Patrick admits. “When an entire parish community is caught up in God’s love, they open the doors of the church much wider, and begin to do things they once thought impossible!
Kay worked as an RN for 48 years, serving most of that time as a nurse in critical care units. Patrick regularly insists, “She is the best thing I can say about me.”
